Red Ring is a discreet way of helping and supporting people to combat domestic violence. Posters were created to be placed in supermarkets, schools, bus stops, and so on. And the main idea is that society can receive workshops and special training represented by a ring of red thread in the left hand so they would be able to provide help when others find themselves in this situation. Unite with us to help others when they need us. COMBAT domestic violence together!
This project has a combination of illustration and photography using texture and complementary colors. I used my own technique named ‘‘No Camouflage’’ based on identifying the light, medium, and dark tones of a shape selecting a BRIGHT color palette for each tone. This technique depicts illustrated hands that are helping and supporting to combat domestic violence in posters. So, I combined this technique with a black & white photograph to reach a dramatic composition.
